are my hunter wellington boots defective?
#I got them last year and have only worn a hand full of times, after the first use, I noticed the deep red/burgundy color was turning a lighter color, they look like they are really dry and have white marks on them, sort of like someone threw baby powder on the boots is my best description. I’d like to bring back the shiny look most rain boots have but I’m not sure how to do it or if my boots are defective? any one else had this problem?

Hi I had this last year with some I bought – Hunter sell a product on their website to clean them up and restore them, alternatively I have used a shoeshine sponge i bought from the supermarket – this worked brilliantly …..they came up like new!

Hey, the exact same thing happened to my navy boots, they started going a white cloudy colour and residue was forming on the surface. a friend recommended i buy a product from hunter’s website called uv tech protect. i gave my wellies a scrub with this and they went back to normal. i dont think they are defective, my friend says it is a natural thing for the wellies to do because they are made from rubber which is a natural product…

Just got these and I think it’s ridiculous that for $100 rain boots, they couldn’t provide some sort of wiping cloth or cleaner for this.
Hunter, if you’re listening, come on, seriously?
