How do I clean these shoes?

#i have a pair of leather shoes- they are almost like an earth shoe, i bought them last year, wore them the entire winter (live in midwest) most comfortable shoes in the world. But, they got salt stains on them and water marks and they are brown but they look really bad. I really want another pair but can not find them, so my question is, what can i use to clean them, maybe take away the salt stains. any help is appreciated.
thank you

They make dye made especially for leather. Check with a shoe repair business.

Well, I live in Canada where we have LOADS of salt on the roads here. The only real way to remove calcium stains on your shoes is actually, quite simple:

Use plain white vinegar. With a soft toothbrush, dip it in the vinegar and lightly brush away the salt stains.

Don’t worry, the vinegar smell will disappear as soon as they dry. Once you’ve removed the salt, take care to use a protective spray this year.
